Victorian Gothic Skeleton Clock

Victorian Skeleton Clock

This is a nicely proportioned Gothic style Victorian skeleton clock estimated to date from around C1875.  The fully restored fusee movement sits on a rosewood veneered platform that locates into the glass dome, which in turn sits on an ebonised base, with turned brass feet.  The dome appears original and with no flaws or cracks. The clock movement features nicely designed decorative plates fretted out by hand, chain driven fusee, five spoke wheels, and a fretted out silvered skeletonised chapter ring. This clock is a timepiece only and does not strike.

The clock measures 50cm in height, 32cm in width and 20cm in depth.
