This is a lovely small size bracket clock dated around the Edwardian era. Despite a fine quality movement and original platform escapement, there is no makers name or marks on the case, dial, or movement. It features an elegantly simple silvered dial with silvered chapter ring and time regulator within the arch. The case is made from fine quality quarter sawn mahogany and features, fluted canted corners to the front and a sound fret in the rear door. The movement is fully restored and features a carriage clock style platform escapement and a very nicely paced and soft sounding strike on the hour and half hour.
